Governance and organisational structure

The Board of Directors is the governing body of CPA Australia. The Board independently and objectively assesses the organisation's decisions and oversees the performance and activities of management.

Members are governed by the professional requirements of
CPA Australia and the Constitution and By-Laws of the organisation. They elect divisional councillors, and, on behalf of members, through the Appointments Council, the Board.

Divisional Councils are Councils established under the
CPA Australia Constitution.

The Council of Presidents provides advice to the Board on strategic issues and opportunities with an emphasis on sharing the views and preferences of the members.
